We are currently on holiday break from November 15th, 2013 through January 15th, 2014. Please read more about this below.
As is our tradition here at Fashion Portland, every holiday season (between November 15th through January 15th) we scale back our operations to give our crew some much deserved time off to spend with their friends, family, and to enjoy the holiday season. We will still be checking e-mail, answering phone calls, and posting through our social media networks but at much slower pace. Also, right now is the time of year that designers and stores work to make a profit before the end of the year and we don’t want to distract them from this.
IN OTHER NEWS: So we have ended our funding campaign but just because we never really got much interest doesn’t mean we have quit, we just have to come up with a better idea. So we are looking into other ideas and methods.
Stay safe and have fun this holiday season. Remember to be loving, patient, and respectful to everyone.
We encourage everyone to check out Little Boxes (http://littleboxespdx.com) and there network of 181 stores in the Portland metro area. If you plan to do some Black Friday shopping or shop the weekend after Thanksgiving we HIGHLY encourage you to check out the boutiques and small businesses in your local neighborhood first. By shopping at your local boutique or business you are saying, with your money, that you value the local people and products here in Portland. Also, many of the small businesses sell products made here in the U.S. and don’t exploit people from other countries. Keep in mind that giant corporations and local businesses are NOT the same and operate on a different set of goals and direction. Support your LOCAL community by purchasing products from a local business. For more information visit the Little Boxes website at (http://littleboxespdx.com).
